Our History and Future

Beginning in 2023, our ministry team did in-depth research on the past, present, and future of Elon across both its social and institutional spheres through an integrated and systematic methodology. Through this process we prayerfully determined the key areas of need and the necessary plans for ministry programs and initiatives.

Since that time, we have developed partnerships fellow Christian organizations on campus and have most recently co-sponsored the largest public Christian event on campus in 17 years. We have also implemented strategic programs that minister and reach the many different religious demographics at Elon which has brought about great success. These programs include elenctic interreligious discourse, apologetic and polemic training, Biblical teaching and discipleship, and public evangelism.

We are in the process of expanding our programs through strategic actions. A major initiative of CROSSXCHANGE is to establish a Christian center for study and inquiry; which would be adjacent to the university and would operate on a programmatic schedule of rotating programs which would include Biblical worldview teaching, lectures, colloquies, debates, and symposiums. Additional plans are CROSSXCHANGE’s podcast and media resources, as well as, publication development and distribution of strategic resources.

CROSSXCHANGE’s current programs and future initiatives combine the rigor of both analytical thinking and the spiritual aptitude necessary in meeting the needs of university culture so that those who are impacted may encounter and be transformed by the wholistic God of both the mind and the heart.
